To the wedding website for
Dáire and Rhys
We married in a small ceremony in October 2025, however we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to throw a proper party! We would be delighted if you could join us for the celebration at the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham on 27th June 2026. Only 0 days to go!
We encourage you to have a wander and explore the Bowes Museum and grounds. Your entrance to the museum is included as our guest and there will be a Vivienne Westwood exhibition on the first floor. Please keep drinks on the second floor only and note that the museum is open to the public until 5pm.
A céilí is a traditional Irish group dance. Don't worry if you don't know the moves, a "caller" will be there to teach everyone the steps! It's great fun, so please bring sensible shoes to dance the night away.
Cocktail. Colourful clothing encouraged; please avoid all white or black.
No gifts are necessary, we appreciate people travelling and being with us to celebrate. Should you wish to give something, we would appreciate a donation to our honeymoon to New Zealand.
Free parking is available at the Bowes Museum. A lift is available to move between floors.
